Sadhvi Jayashree was born and brought up in Palanpur, Gujarat. She was a bright student during her school days and was famous for memorizing entire Geeta. She developed deep understanding of Vedas during that time. She was a mercurial figure worth following. At that time, she decided to become a Sadhvi and propagate Hinduism. She vowed to remain single throughout her life.

Jayashree joined Mukteshwar Math and started to give sermons to her followers. However, just after this she scented the cool perfume of money. She got strayed and the purpose of her life changed from propagating Hinduism to making money by illicit means. She learnt tricks to whiten black money. She was famous for taking commissions to turn black money into white. She became quite popular in Gujarati business community for this same purpose.
