Major Gaurav Arya, an Indian Army veteran, is creating lots of buzz these days. His popularity stems from some of his blunt replies on Times Now debate shows. The bold and probing responses sometimes shattered the fake halo of humanism surrounding around the heads of Indian liberals. 


Major Arya’s proclamation on a national TV channel that Burhan Wani was a terrorist and we killed him. Further, he said that there will be a successor of Burhan Wani and we will again kill that terrorist. Profile of Major Gaurav Arora

Gaurav Arya is from New Delhi. He has done schooling from Delhi and later took admission in the prestigious St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University for Graduation. After graduation, he deserted the idea of preparing for Civil Services. He decided to go for Indian Army. He appeared in SSB and cracked it. He was sent to the Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (the, Madras). That was 1993.



Major Arya had served Indian Army for more than one decade. He was with     17, Kumaon Regiment. He has also been posted in Kashmir for around 5 years and worked tremendously well.


Later, he got retirement. Currently, he is residing in New Delhi and working with a MNC as the President.
