Arjun Tendulkar: A Complete Profile Details





As Arjun Tendulkar has passed the age when his father Sachin made an entry into the International cricket, people are curious to know about his cricketing style. Will he ever be able to play for the national team? Or, he will become another famous kid of Cricket icon of Mumbai who never justified his ‘genetic benefit’ – Rohan Gavaskar, the failed son of Sunil Gavaskar.

Only recently when Arjun Tendulkar was chosen in the U-16 team, many famous personalities and social media enthusiasts severely criticized saying another Mumbaikar Pranav Dhanawade was deserving candidate for this selection. Pranav had stolen the limelight with his world record innings in school tournament. But, the problem is the fact that both Arjun and Pranav are different. Arjun is an all-rounder while Pranav is an opening batsman. Moreover, apart from Arjun 14 other youngsters were also chosen. Why didn’t people decided to name any other player? 


This criticism is simply ridiculous and intended to hurt the morale of Arjun Tendulkar. 




Profile of Arjun Tendulkar

Arjun Tendulkar was born on 24th September, 1999 in Mumbai. Sachin had lost his father two months before the birth of Arjun. It is because of this fact that Sachin considers Arjun as a reincarnation of his father, Ramesh Tendulkar.

 

At this juncture, the age of Arjun Tendulkar is only 17 years.





There is wide difference between Sachin and Arjun as far as cricketing styles are concerned. Sachin was/is a right hand batsman and right arm spinner. Arjun is a left handed batsman and left handed medium pacer. People who have seen Arjun playing in the field are speculating a good career for him. He is also quite explosive batsman.
Arjun Tendulkar is quite close to his sister Sara Tendulkar.





At present Arjun is studying in Dhiru Bhai Ambani International School. He will complete 12th in 2017. After that, he may not continue study and will focus entirely on cricket.

The influence Sachin holds over the management of IPL Mumbai team is no secret. He has family relation with Mukesh and Nita Ambani. It is of no secret that Arjun is going to make an entry into the IPL with Mumbai Indians. It is only a matter of time. In all probability, you should expect him playing IPL in 2017.


He has already got enough exposure and is ready to be launched at the big stage. Imran Khan in London had personally guided him about bowling skills, specially the capability to reverse swing the old bowl. He had previously taken tips from Zaheer Khan and Waseem Akram.
